New Walk Outreach

New Walk Outreach Ministry provides donated clothing items for women in shelters and transitional housing. The ministry also provides personal care gift bags that can be given to these women when they enter the sheltering process. The gift bags are filled with full size items such as shampoo, conditioner, skin care products, personal hygiene products, toothbrushes and toothpaste. Typically, there are up to 20 items in each bag. Two bags are also provided for infant/child needs, one for a boy and one for a girl.

In addition, New Walk Outreach supplies turkey and ham meals during Thanksgiving and Christmas so the women and children can enjoy a good meal during the holiday season. We also provide donations of new and gently used clothing and meals directly to the Tacoma Rescue Mission for men, women and children serviced through their facilities.

New Walk Outreach works with the following organizations:

• DAWN - Domestic Abuse Women's Network
• Son Rise House - Transitional Housing for Women in Recovery
• Tacoma Rescue Mission - Men, Women and Childrens Services
